When posting or printing an edit list for an AIT transaction, you can get the error message:

Company errors: Posting setup records in the destination company are missing.

This happens if the audit trail or posting setup records for AIT are missing from a destination company.

Resolution: Run the AIT Setup Wizard.  When the Wizard starts, it should automatically mark “Posting Setup” and “Build AIT Tables” and find the company or companies in which these records are missing. If the Setup Wizard does not automatically mark those options, mark them manually. For additional information on running the AIT Setup Wizard, refer to the AIT Manual.

Cause: These records are most often missing for two reasons: this is a new company; Clear Tables was run on the Audit Trail tables.
